Before you draw

Is this Secret Santa generator free?

Yes. Creating a draw, adding exclusions and sharing the results are free. Neither you nor the participants need an account.

Can I stop couples or siblings from drawing each other?

Yes. Add an exclusion group for people who shouldn’t draw each other, such as a couple or siblings. The app checks that a valid draw is possible before drawing.

How do I share the Secret Santa results?

Copy the shared link into WhatsApp, Signal, an email or your usual group chat. Each participant chooses their name and confirms it to discover who they’re giving to. You can also send each person an individual private link.

Can the organiser see who everyone drew?

Results stay hidden by default, but the organiser can choose to view them. Anyone with the shared link can select any participant’s name, and anyone with an individual link can open that result. The surprise relies on everyone opening only their own result.

How do I return to my draw later?

Keep the recovery code shown when you start. Enter it on the homepage to resume the same draw, including on another device. Keep it private: anyone with that code can manage the draw.
